Hannah Philomena Scheiber, a name that stays in mind. Much like her art, which seamlessly fuses contrasts, she uses colour as a means of expression and form as a conduit for emotion. Inspired by her home,

"She combines timeless intuition with a sense for the present."
For Hannah Philomena Scheiber, the art market is a world without boundaries. Primarily because she sets no limits for herself. Nowhere, especially not in the marketing of her work or her personal brand. As a cosmopolitan living and working in the Ötztal, she prefers to keep control of her own destiny.
“When you're told that only three percent of art school graduates can make a living from their art, the future prospects don't seem very promising," says Hannah Philomena Scheiber. "But it was always clear to me that I would be one of those three percent," she adds, laughing confidently. …

"My goal is to pursue projects that align with my values."
Ötztal artist Hannah Scheiber discusses art as a path to self-empowerment, as transformative power of nature, and as social responsibility. Originally from the Tyrolean mountain village of Obergurgl, she has catapulted herself into the international art scene. With studies in Vienna, Florence, and New York, as well as prominent exhibitions, such as
her recent solo show ‘Ultra Mare’ at the Bank Austria Kunstforum in Vienna, she is now a leading figure of a new generation of female artists. Her works are both evocative and polarising, deeply rooted in the dynamic relationship between humanity and nature.

"Hannah Philomena Scheiber inspires with her unique style."
Hannah Philomena Scheiber studied painting at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. She spent a semester abroad in Florence and took part in an ‘Artist in Residence’ program in New York with Austrian graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister. While still a student, the Ötztal native also specialised in ceramic design, among other disciplines. Her works inspire and provoke, often sparking
strong reactions. Scheiber is seen as a pioneer of a new generation of artists revitalising the art scene. Her success is rooted in large-scale paintings and distinctive wall plates. Notably, her landscape paintings in ultramarine blue blur the line between abstraction and realism.
